VIKING HANDS

Viking hands is also a disease — this is not it

If you searched for “viking hands” or “viking fingers”, you were probably looking for a medical condition, not for us. So you know straight away where you have landed:

Viking disease (Dupuytren’s contracture)

Dupuytren’s contracture is a benign thickening of the connective tissue in the palm. Nodules and cords form; over time individual fingers — usually the ring and little finger — can no longer be straightened fully. The nickname “viking disease” comes from the condition being more common in northern Europe. It is assessed and treated medically, usually by a hand surgeon.

What to do if that is what you meant

Talk to your GP or a hand surgeon. We are not the right address for this, and we do not want to be.

And the Viking Hands Method?

The Viking Hands Method is a movement and pain-cause analysis developed by Mirko Naber. The name comes from his build and his hands-on work, not from a condition. It has nothing to do with Dupuytren’s — neither in cause nor in treatment.
